Private offshore theory course – personal training 10 hours incl. mock exam

Would you like to obtain your offshore licence and value practical, personal coaching? Our private offshore theory course (face-to-face) offers you exactly that!

In two 5-hour sessions, we delve deep into offshore theory (with breaks in between if desired). This gives you the time you need to engage intensively with the material. At the same time, we ensure that we can answer all your questions comprehensively and at your own pace, so that you have no uncertainties going into the exam.

This course is ideal for anyone who appreciates the advantages of a private coach and wants to take enough time to study the theory in order to prepare for the exam in the best possible way. It is important that you actively practise and consolidate what you have learned between sessions.

At the end of the course, you will receive a mock exam for the tide and chart tasks. After you have completed this on your own, we will discuss your results together and address any remaining questions.

This ensures that you are well prepared for the official exam and can then devote yourself to practical work at sea with a sound knowledge base.

Course content:

· Private F2F coaching for 10 hours (divided into 2x5 hours)

· Documents will be sent in PDF format

· Test exam covering chart and tidal tasks

· Free travel (within Switzerland)

· Free support for up to 2 months after the course

Please note that the theory material required for the offshore exam must be ordered directly from the examiner of your choice. These are either the Cruising Club of Switzerland (CCS) or the Swiss Yachting Association (SYA).
