Offshore sailing licence theory course – remote training 6 hours incl. mock exam

Our compact and informative offshore sailing theory course is the perfect way to prepare for the exam efficiently!

To get you off to the best possible start, we will send you the course materials in advance as a PDF file.

We strongly recommend that you read through them thoroughly before the course begins and work through them on your own. The documents are self-explanatory, so you can acquire important knowledge and basic exercises in advance.

This way, you will be well prepared for the course and can get the most out of your learning time!

This course is ideal for anyone with a sound knowledge of geography who wants to prepare for the exam flexibly and independently.

If you prefer to complete the course in two three-hour blocks, you will have sufficient time to consolidate and practise what you have learned.

At the end of the course, you will receive a mock exam covering tidal and chart tasks. Once you have completed this independently, we will discuss your results together and clarify any questions you may have.

This will ensure that you are well prepared for the official exam!

Course content:

· Remote coaching for 6 hours (can be divided into 2x3 hours)

· Documents will be sent in PDF format

· Test exam covering chart and tidal tasks

· Free support for up to 2 months after the course

Please note that the theory material required for the offshore exam must be ordered directly from the examiner of your choice. These are either the Cruising Club of Switzerland (CCS) or the Swiss Yachting Association (SYA).
